Lahan Technical School

This course is based on the job required to be performed by a middle level agriculture technician in different institutions of Nepal. Diploma in Agriculture course extends over 3 years. The first year focuses on basic sciences and fundamental subjects, the second year on agriculture, soil management and conservation, community development and running a farmer field school, and the third year is given to cover the other agriculture related subjects and to the application of learned theory and skill development within comprehensive practice settings in both agriculture related institutions and communities. Diploma in agriculture program aims to produce mid-level agriculture/veterinary technicians to fulfill the demand of nation and agro-veterinary technology transformation to the farmers.

CTEVT has been conducting annex program in most of the high schools and currently, Nepal Government is going to launch plus 2 levels for agro-vet technicians in academically potential high schools from class 9. This course is based on the job required to perform by the Civil Engineering Technicians (Civil Overseer) at different levels of public and private sectors physical infrastructures development related civil engineering works in Nepal. Off-season cultivation of vegetable refers to the production of the vegetable before or after their normal cultivation seasons of production. This can be accomplished by using the different agro-climatic conditions, adjusting the planting time, selecting and improving the varieties or by creating the controlled environment by making the plastic tunnels, polythene houses, permanent glass houses etc. Go to education page

A welder or lit operator is a tradesperson who specializes in fusing materials together. The term welder refers to the operator, the machine is referred to as the welding power supply. The materials to be joined can be metals (such as steel, aluminum, brass, stainless steel etc.) or varieties of plastic or polymer. Welders typically have to have good dexterity and attention to detail, as well as some technical knowledge about the materials being joined and best practices in the field.[ Go to education page

The competency based curriculum guide for block & brick mason is designed to produce
graduates equipped with knowledge, skills and attitudes required by the technicians having
this occupation especially for the foreign employment. Successful graduates of the program
who completed all modules will be capable of building interior or and exterior walls of new
ho0uses or large projects like stadiums, shopping centers, high rise apartments and office
block. Graduates of this program typically hold job as “Mason”.

jobs in current construction industry from domestic households to industrial or outdoor. The
program focuses mainly on practical activity, which is performed on actual or simulated
sites. Graduates of this program typically hold jobs as “carpenter”.
