Bachelor of Arts (BA) is a course designed to enhance students’ conceptual and theoretical understanding and methodological sills of respective subjects. Upon graduation, a student should be equipped to function as a manager in business, industry and government. This degree has been designed for students who want to pursue a career in biochemistry. Among the many options for students who opt for this degree are graduate school in biochemistry, medical, dental, or veterinary school, or working in the field of biotechnology.
A minimum of 47 quarter hours of chemistry courses and selected biology courses are required for the Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Two minors are required with this degree.
