The BPH program aims to prepare professional public health specialists with the highest technical and managerial competence in district level health programs, including problem identification, planning, implementing, training, health education, and research.

Such specialists can serve in various types of positions at national, regional, zonal, district or local levels. They will be needed in various kinds of governmental or non-governmental health agencies, hospital, schools and institutions, other possible area of absorption may involve special responsibilities, e.g. working directly with local communities and individuals, working primarily with school teachers, administering health education services, and preparing health workers in public health fields.
In general, the graduates of Bachelor of Public health program should be able to carry out the responsibilities designed for the district public health officer. Go to education page

The bachelor in nursing science program aim is to prepare competent graduate nurses who can work independently as a member of health team to provide preventive, promotive, curative and rehabilitative care, to teach in the different health institutions and conduct leadership role in various health care settings as well as in research activities.It prepares nurses for a wide variety of professional roles and graduate study. Course work includes nursing science, research, leadership, and related sciences that inform the practice of nursing. It also provides the student with general education in math, humanities and social sciences. An undergraduate degree affords opportunities for greater career advancement and higher salary options. It is often a prerequisite for teaching, administrative, consulting and research roles. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is not currently required for entry into professional nursing. The post basic bachelor nursing program is intended
-prepare nurse as facility to be able train basic and middle level nursing manpower
-train managers and supervisors in the community and in hospital
-Prepare graduates who are able to conduct basic level research studies in the clinical and community field of nursing practices
-prepare graduates as clinical specialist in hospital/community

This course provides you with the skills required to perform as a health lab assistant at different level health institutions in Nepal. It provides you with knowledge and skills for various laboratory procedures such as haematological tests, biochemical tests, microbiological tests and parasitological tests as well as blood banking, first aid and communicable diseases.
