On the Job Training

On the job training means that you will directly join an organization, company or business to learn the skills you require for becoming a certain profession from somebody senior. On the job training is especially relevant for professions, where there is no formal training existing in Nepal or where learning from a mentor / senior is more effective than studying theoretical aspects. OJT are not a standard education or training, rather they are a specific type of apprenticeship for different areas that will benefit from hands-on experience. For example, career counselors observing several counseling sessions and how a senior career counselor reacts is more beneficiary than learning in a school setting. Go to education page
